Biliana Tod is a doctor of science, entrepreneur and international speaker. Passionate about neuroscience, she is an expert in individual and collective performance.

A researcher at the CEA, INSERM and the Institut Pasteur, Biliana Tod contributed to research into HIV vaccines, allergies and breast cancer treatment, before devoting herself to her true passion: the workings of the human brain and its mysteries.

To better understand the human capacity to mobilize energy and overcome limits, she placed her brain under extreme working conditions:

  • She subjected it to over 100 clinical studies, including MRI, electroencephalography and magnetoencephalography sessions.
  • A daring scientific adventurer, she experimented with drugs such as Ritalin (used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and Ketamine (a general anesthetic) to better understand brain function.

Today, Biliana Tod makes science accessible to the general public and shares the results of her research at captivating conferences.

She offers an inspiring vision and practical tools for improving collaboration and effectiveness at work, all based on the latest discoveries in neuroscience.

She is particularly involved in the following areas:

  • Doping and taming our brains to perform joyfully: our brains don't know how to be naturally happy. Neuroscience reveals that most of our thoughts are naturally negative; that achieving a goal is not a source of lasting happiness; and that, to build a fulfilling life, we need to learn to master our brain's automatisms and traps. In this talk, Biliana Tod gives you the tools to learn how to produce your own dopamine - the happiness molecule. A happy brain is a brain that performs better.
  • Team commitment and cohesion.
  • Cognitive biases at work: diversity, equality.
  • The neuroscience of feedback.
